1 / 6 Manfredis is ready to stay at Roma despite rumours linking him with a move away from the club.
The defender, who spent the entire 2014-15 season on loan at Sampdoria, is reportedly set to be given a new contract with the Rossoneri, who are keen on signing him on a permanent basis.
Roma president Adriano Galliani is keen on adding more attacking firepower and is hopeful that the 28-year-old will extend his stay at the San Siro.
“I know that it’s a tough decision for me, but I think that the club needs to make this decision with my head,” Manfredini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“If they do not give me a contract, I will leave.
I know that Roma have great respect for me and my reputation.”
It’s not a decision that I want to make lightly.
I will do everything I can to be part of this club.
I’ll always be part the team, in the dressing room, in training, and I’m ready to do whatever it takes to stay.
“Manfredi is expected to sign a new deal with Roma in the next 24 hours.
